Visual Designer

The Visual Designer position is responsible for creating beautiful, stunning and edge-y digital designs and user experiences for the organizations we serve. The CD’s responsibilities include working with the team to come up with compelling strategies, UX and design that are responsive and work in all digital environments – from a desktop browser to the Apple Watch. We have a technical team that can implement anything the designer dreams up. We work with and in some of the latest technologies from a mobile and application standpoint and provide resources and training to stay up to speed on what’s going on in our space.

The Visual Designer is expected to have at least 2 years of experience developing impactful digital designs and campaigns in the tools most common for the job at hand. These tools may include:

• Photoshop
• Sketch
• Framer
• Invision
• Adobe Creative Suite and other prototyping tools
• Illustrator

Other expected skills, not necessarily required and will be judged on a case by case basis:

• Bachelor’s Degree in UX/Art/Design
• Portfolio of previous work that displays an ability to turn an idea into a visual piece
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of the design process from gathering requirements to wireframes to prototypes
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
