The Vice President of Finance – Food and Beverage is to provide strategic and financial leadership and support for the Food and Beverage management team s. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive Company Food and Beverage financial performance through implementation of key initiatives, tools, and programs that enhance F&B’s culture of continuous improvement. This role will partner with various Company reporting and analysis teams to support the governance, reporting, financial review, and capital planning processes from a Food and Beverage perspective. Ensures all activities performed within Food and Beverage operations are in accordance with the company’s business objectives, budget guidelines, established standards, company policies, practices and procedures.
Partners with Enterprise Analytics on developing and implementing tools and action plans that support the continuous improvement and growth of Food and Beverage performance.
Partners with property Food & Beverage teams to establish sound operational practices, cost targets/KPI’s, and financial goals that will enhance profitability through greater cost.
Drives top line performance by implementing and supporting sustainability of revenue growth programs such as Server Selling Skills, sales incentive programs, and Enterprise Food and Beverage price and positioning strategies.
Partners with operations and property Finance leadership to facilitate the integration of different business functions and financial performance review processes; sets the direction and pace of change; and sponsors and drives crucial change initiatives.
Partners with property finance and operations management to ensure the establishment of sound operational business practices that produce positive methods to ensure all projects/assignment produce quality results, remain within budgetary constraints and meet targeted deadlines.
Provides leadership and direction on incentive programs for Food and Beverage teams, partnering with Human Resources and Corporate Compensation.
Provides leadership of various projects, initiatives and continuous improvement assignments within the Food and Beverage division, and drive sustainability of executed projects.
Supports and implements strategic plan and vision for Food and Beverage Strategy and is consistent with MGM Resorts International strategic vision.
·Supports contract negotiation activities and ensures compliance to current agreements for Food and Beverage operations.
·Creates schedules and proformas to support the evaluation of development projects and/or other investments within Food and Beverage.
Supports the development of business cases for key strategic initiatives within Food and Beverage.
Develops and evaluates current practices to ensure financial objectives are being met to maximize potential financial return and meet operations cost control objectives.

Ensures consistent monitoring and reporting of results, in partnership with Enterprise Analytics.
Continually develops and evaluates current practices to ensure financial objectives a r e being met to maximize potential financial return and meet Food and Beverage cost control objectives.

Required:
At least ten (10) years of experience in a leadership capacity, with a minimum of five (5) years in a hospitality business environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
Must have financial reporting and analysis experience for a large-scale hospitality company/property
In-depth understanding of operations and processes in the various business models of our F&B segments.
In-depth understanding and application of applicable federal, state, and other regulations relative to this role.
Must possess strong leadership abilities, interpersonal skills, sound judgment, superior decision-making and problem solving skills with excellent oral and written communication to effectively deal with internal and external contacts.
A proactive management style is required to look beyond problems and current practices to develop effective solutions that create efficiencies and maximize return on revenue.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
Preferred:
MBA or CPA certification preferred.
Previous experience in a hotel/gaming environment.
