UX/UI Designer

Visible Measures is looking for a designer with a passion for crafting great experiences. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in experience design from conception, through release, and beyond. We are looking for someone with an innate ability to understand and guide users via intuitive design; someone who easily grasps challenging interactions and distills them into clean, effective interfaces.

Alongside a small, nimble team, the UX/UI Designer will create features that expand functionality and simplify complex tasks within our own software applications, web pages, and media platforms. These tools facilitate world class brands in running, promoting, and analyzing video campaigns, maximizing reach and viral impact. Some of the world’s most successful video campaigns run through our applications!

Working closely with Product Managers and Engineers, the Designer will generate and iterate upon user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final visual designs in order to promote adoption and ease of use. Successful candidates will know how to justify their work based on research, trends, and usability studies.

Being a self-motivated individual with a desire to improve your own process, and the process of the team at large, is a must. Visible Measures is a dynamic environment where good ideas are embraced quickly, but only when they are championed by motivated people!

Responsibilities

• Own the design of intuitive and usable application interfaces through concept, prototype, visual design, and final implementation.
• Understand and advocate for the needs of various user groups.
• Possess a broad knowledge of platforms and interfaces from which to draw.
• Create information architecture and interaction designs that solve our user’s needs and promote the business case.
• Enhance existing products with new concepts, designs, and user experience best practices.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience.
• Portfolio of relevant work which demonstrates both visual and UX design abilities
• Mastery of Prototyping and Design tools
• Front end coding experience a plus
• Strong, clear communication skills
• Experience in a SAAS based environment a plus
