UI/Visual Designer – Immediate Hire

iBaby is a fast growing startup focusing on family care smart technology. Our award-winning products include baby monitors, pet camera, smart purifier, and a robot. We are seeking an energetic UI/Visual Designer with excellent communication skills to be a part of our all-star team in San Jose, CA.

Reporting directly to the Co-Founder, this is an on-site full-time position in San Jose, CA which will start immediately and has a lot of potential for growth. We offer benefits and flexible hours. Responsibilities:

• Work with the product and marketing management team to deliver interfaces for new features and products on app and website
• Revamp underperforming interfaces for existing features
• Be able to turn the wireframes into beautiful visual designs. Can understand branding and apply into the designs.
• Create mockups and designs to enforce quality and consistency in the visual style
• Create specs for developers for UI designs and work with developers to implement the designs
• Study users and usage data to improve interfaces and collect feedback for the management team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a user interface designer, visual designer, interaction designer, or similar role.
• Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.
• A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating effective user-centered design solutions for mobile apps and websites. Must have samples of App UI Designs
• Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides
• Ability to create interactive prototypes with tools like Axure or by hand
• Bachelor’s degree in design or related fields.
• Permanent resident or US Citizen (iBaby does not sponsor for Visa)

Plus Points (not required):

• Understanding of HTML and CSS is very helpful
• Ability to work with WordPress
• Ability to create interactive prototypes
