Our growing team is focused on delivering a transformational experience for our clients. At our core, we’re customer service specialists who happen to have built an LMS, and we’re looking for a skilled UI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is collaborative and detail-oriented, and has proven experience in combining beautiful graphical design with technical implementation. We’d love it if you have experience in full-stack development, feel at home in Photoshop, and enjoy translating tech-talk into artful and engaging designs. We’re looking for a UI Developer who will work closely with our CX (client experience) team to implement client-requested design services and branding across the spectrum of the Wisetail client family. The ideal candidate is eager to incorporate their own creative ideas while also adapting and retaining the Wisetail brand. You will work on a variety of projects including creating design assets for client-branded skins, implementing UI changes using HTML/CSS/Javascript, and even diving into the LMS core codebase to solve problems and squish bugs. You’ll be an integral member of our Development Services team, with opportunities to learn and grow in a community that uses code to make people’s lives easier and more beautiful every day.

Requirements

Based in Bozeman.

Experience with responsive design/development and mobile-web best practices.

Experience with cross-browser testing.

Focus on client-side optimization and performance.

Great habits around version Control (Git).

Experience with front-end build automation and tooling (LESS, SASS, Gulp, etc).

Strong communication skills with the ability to absorb and follow direction.

Ability to manage time wisely and shift priorities as client needs shift.

Pluses

Experience working along side PHP and MySQL.

Experience with Angular, React, and other JS Frameworks.

Experience analyzing complex problems in order to develop user flows.

Rapid prototyping skills, relying on tools such as InVision.
