T3 Trading Group LLC, a unit of T3 companies, is a registered Broker/Dealer and Member NASDAQ and PHLX exchanges. Our desk is currently looking to expand our proprietary trading operations on our state of the art, downtown New York City trading floor.

As a Day Trader (Traders) will scour numerous financial news sites in the morning in order to create a ticker list with possible trading ideas for his/herself as well as their team. Both technical and fundamental analysis will be applied to equity, option, and or currency screening. Although oneself will always be learning, an extensive training program will take place pre, during, and post market hours. Pre- market will involve going over any economic events that might effect the market, a general overview of market conditions, and specific trade ideas. During market hours the team will focus on current trading ideas and how to execute them with proper risk/reward rations. Post- market the team will go over trades, specifically what was done well and what could be improved upon. We will also discuss trading setups and proper risk to reward ratios depending on those setups.

To the uneducated eye trading is completely random and therefor making money is deemed as “luck”. To this, one could simply say, how are their profitable professional traders with such longevity? Trading can be a very exciting career and although it’s not for everyone, those that want it bad enough have the potential to unlock financial freedom . Trading is a very emotional stimulating job with the potential to give oneself a real sense of worth.

Beyond the skills to be profitable within the market sector of finance , trading teaches oneself to think and analyze situations in a way that would not be possible with out an education and background in trading. Understanding actions in terms of risk to reward is a concept that people think is inherent, like common sense. Traders may be asked to submit a nominal capital contribution. A huge benefit to the trader is the leverage offered, high P&L (Profit & Loss) percentage that he/she will retain, and of course the proper schooling.

Please be aware that in the past we have sponsored H1—B visas, however we evaluate this opportunity on a case to case basis. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee sponsorship. We are able to take traders on OPT, but he/she must have at minimum 12 months of OPT status remaining.

Requirements:
We have found that the successful traders share roughly some of the same inherent traits. Adaptability, being a team player, being able to articulate ideas within a group setting, and being able to manage risk. are all paramount. Attention to detail can be a really helpful skill in terms of recognizing patterns and market interactions. An Entrepreneurial spirit is a common characteristic of a day trader . As a trader, oneself essentially works for themselves with guided supervision. Therefor, being a self starter is an essential variable. Your experience and your profitable is a direct function of the work YOU put in.
