Job Description:

-Coordinate pickups for 20-56 students with bus driver, while keeping in constant contact with tour manager to insure a smooth trip.

-Maintain constant communication with students and tour guide manager throughout entire tip to make sure everything runs smoothly.

-Coordinate pickups and drop offs for each activity while on the tour.

-Have a lot of fun!

Job Requirments:

-Must be in Santa Barbara

-Must have a personal cell phone and have unlimited data with a reliable phone carrier. Position requires constant use of personal phone including messaging, calling, google maps, internet.

-Must have cultural sensitivity to all nationalities and backgrounds as we have students from almost every country.

-Experience with international students and international education is a huge plus not a requirement.

-Experience with leading tours and groups of people a plus but will train the right person if you have never done this before.

-Must be reliable as you will be responsible for being on time to each pick and drop location, before, during, and after the trip.

-Must have weekend availability from Friday to Sundays and sometimes Friday to Mondays on special holiday weekends. We leave early Friday morning and arrive back at first location from 7pm to 9 or 10pm, depends on when bus leaves city to head back to Santa Barbara.

-Must have great customer service and be friendly, outgoing, and approachable with great enthusiasm for the entire tip.

-Critical thinking and problem solving skills and a go with the flow mentality as issues arise on the tours that need to be solved.

-Great communication and patience, some of our students speak 0 English and some are fluent so being able to be patient with all levels of English is a must.

-Be charismatic and fun! It’s important that you’re the life of the party and a fun person as you will need to bring a high energy level throughout the whole trip, essentially you’re the face of our company during trips!
