New York Cruise Lines has an immediate opportunity for a flexible, self-starting, hard-working and organized individual to work as a Ticket Agent.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer assistance and information

• Perform ticket sales for current and future sailings using POS system

• Conduct all transactions accurately and efficiently

• Responsible for cash management and compliance

• Manage cash bank throughout the day while processing transactions

• Accept cash and give change with accuracy and efficiency

• Able to resolve customer conflict, should there be one

• Maintain clean, neat, and correct uniform as Manager

• Maintain clean, neat, and organized work station

• Practice good communication with co-workers and customers

• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred

• Experience working with POS system

• Consistent attendance & punctuality is required

• Great communication skills

• Ability to stand for long periods; entire shift

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
