Technology Services Support Specialist

This position will provide support to the Districts IT systems including hardware, software, databases, communication systems, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environment, security and audio visual systems. This individual will troubleshoot and resolve end user issues. This position will be responsible for analyzing, recommending, purchasing and maintaining all hardware and peripherals. They will partner with our MSP in relation to upgrades, updates/patches, backups, server and network issues as well operating system issues.

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience, with demonstrated IT or AV experience. Proficient, demonstrated technical troubleshooting capabilities. Solid experience with MS Office, MS operating systems and LAN/WAN. Solid experience with a variety of AV, phone systems, mobile devices and radios helpful.
