Technical Support and Test Engineer, Entry-Level

PEmicro is searching for an entry-level engineer to provide engineering level technical support to our customers as well as develop automated testing scripts and setups for our products. PEmicro is an industry trendsetter in the creation of development tools for embedded systems and as such our customers are largely engineering companies working on all manner of embedded system products. The products PEmicro produces are a mixture of PC software, embedded systems hardware, firmware, and cloud connectivity. P&E offers a collegial, educational, and fast-paced work environment that has many opportunities for a motivated engineer.

This full-time Technical Support and Test Engineer position responsibilities include:

• Helping customers solve technical problems
• Propose solutions to customers using PEmicro products
• Post to various forums to answer technical questions and educate customers
• Develop embedded C code to validate software/hardware features
• Build testing scripts to automate validation of software/hardware features
• Perform testings of products releases and features

Skills/Requirements:

• BSCS/BSCE or equivalent
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Some experience in C level programming

Helpful Qualifications:

• Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and explain them to others
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
• Ability to write and understand python and C code
• Comfortable working with customers via various communication mediums
• Ability to work on multiple assignments concurrently
