Technical Program Manager, Student Experience

Udacity is looking for a proficient Technical Program Manager who can work across technical and non-technical disciplines to complete cross functional projects/proof-of-concepts analyzing and enhancing our student experience. A successful person will be able to understand the technical underpinnings of projects, identify future opportunities, and improve processes over time. Projects which this person will manage will influence all parts of the student experience including admissions, enrollment, engagement & satisfaction, and graduation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop proof-of-concepts designed to enhance student experience. Then execute and deliver proven, impactful initiatives.
• Interact with diverse groups across organizational levels to track milestones.
• Identify and resolve cross-functional and inter-team issues by working to deliver proof-of-concepts to stakeholders. Get buy-in and determine priorities in order to ensure proof of concept gets implemented as a full solution.
• Utilize Agile methodology/Scrum. Scrum master experience preferred.
• Build actionable metrics, reports, and dashboards to highlight project health and status.

Requirements:

• MA/MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in Project Management, Consulting, or Business Analytics.
• Proven track record of leading with a high level of complexity.
• Experience working with external partners and managing cross-functional programs.
• Developed and implemented business and product strategies.
• Comfortable presenting to Senior Executives; excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• PMP Certification a plus.
