Who our client needs: Technical Business Analyst

What you will be doing:

We need a Technical Business Analyst to provide support of the Geographic Information System (GIS). Potential assignments include software support, GIS software upgrades, interface design and development.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of IT Integrators and IT Business Analysts to ensure solutions are implemented in a manner consistent with the software development lifecycle.
• Understand the security and compliance requirements of applications and business areas. Utilize appropriate methods, controls and documentation.
• Gather requirements and translate into functional specifications. Active participation in the testing process to ensure a quality product is delivered.
• Contribute and assist in assignments in a team environment.
• Clearly communicate thoughts, ideas, specifications and requirements with business clients and technical developers using appropriate means of communication.

The skills you need to have:

• Strong SQL skills
• Business Analysis
• Requirements gathering
• Basic understanding of software development
• Software QAQC
• Understanding of ESRI/GIS software knowledge is a plus

Rate/Salary: $70,000/Year
