Technical Analyst – Integration Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Work on large project that involves migrating/on-boarding our customers using generic framework services.
• Work with business partners and external customers to integrate with Staples systems.
• Exhibit strong technical and analytical skill and ability to take initiatives.
• Follow best practices and standards and ensure compliance technically and from a process standpoint before implementing
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Staples Contract Systems and business processes and system environment.
• Support customers by providing technical consultation
• Adapt quickly to change and positively take on new responsibilities.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent preferred
• 1 year experience in hands-on role in a large-scale B2B Integration implementation, preferably in a webMethods product suite
• 1 year experience with XML, EDI or other eCommerce industry standards.
• 1 year experience testing with external partners.
• Must exude a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize issues under pressure
• Ability to analyze problems and present technical solutions
• Good communication skills (with internal team members and external business partners)
• Solid organizational skills.
• Experience with the below technologies is preferred
• Computer networking concepts and communication protocols:

o Unix

o Database technologies: SQL, DB2, Oracle

o DTDs, Schemas, XSLT

o SOA
