Technical Account Manager – Consulting Services

Location: USA, Phoenix (Arizona)

The Technical Account Manager is a key point of contact for the client in relation to their portfolio of SEEBURGER services and solutions. This is a client facing role requiring a combination of solid technical skills and knowledge, and the ability to work directly with end-user clients and senior level management within existing clients, as well as engage with R&D, Product Management, Presales and Sales teams.

As the Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will be responsible for building and maintaining post-sales relationships with SEEBURGER’s largest and most complex customers. You will serve as a primary point of contact for multiple customers, helping to ensure successful implementations and that the customers continue their operationalization of SEEBURGER Technologies – documenting SEEBURGER value and ROI realization. You will work hand-in-hand with senior executives on opportunities to improve your customers’ Integration landscape. Additionally, you will also act as the voice of the customer within SEEBURGER to escalate problems and to drive prioritization of business needs for our customers.

The TAM is the only front-line customer facing support role within the Services organization. The TAM is responsible for the overall growth, quality, and satisfaction of the customer’s services relationship. A successful. Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in technical or business discipline or related experience; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive related experience with 3+ years in leadership role.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate in deep architectural reviews, ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment and growth
  • Discuss innovative solutions to customer requirements, with assistance from our internal R&D group as well as product management
  • Facilitate resolution of customer issues by coordinating support responses when required
  • Function as a technical resource for best practice and informal customer questions and act as liaison between customers and internal SEEBURGER functions
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customers’ business as well as their technical environment
  • Consistently communicating the breadth and value proposition of the solutions portfolio
  • Expansion of share of business through consultative selling
  • Proactively engage customers for Quarterly Business Reviews, project performance and execution.
  • Work with sales leadership to strategize on new business opportunities and lead/support proposal efforts with support from the team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that the scope of work is properly identified in order to respond to requirements specified in solicitation documents.
  • Supports the organization in the growth by administering task order/proposal request issued by various projects to develop and deliver quality, compliant, and winning proposals and task orders.

Your profile

  • 6+ years of experience delivering consulting services, including team leadership and involvement in selling professional services
  • 2+ years managing C-level client relationships, including escalation resolution
  • 2+ years of enterprise-level project management experience
  • Ability to think strategically and turn business objectives into technical solution
  • Ability to influence others in a multi-matrixed environment
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills, executive-level presence and experience in working in a client advisory role
  • Ability to travel to meet client and project needs, up to 50%
  • In-depth knowledge of PM and IT concepts, strategies and methodologies and their application to business opportunities;
  • A strong technical background and foundation is preferred;
  • Experience in the Financial Service (Banking/Insurance) industry and/or Utilities industry preferred.
  • Experience with Managed File Transfer, B2B, EDI applications, SEEBURGER or competitive products (TIBCO, Axway, IBM Sterling, Globalscape)
  • Highly motivated, organized and willing to take ownership of all efforts
