Talent Development Internship

APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 23, 2018

To be eligible for PGE’s Summer Internship program, you must be at least 18 years old as of June 1, 2018 and have met one of the following criteria:

A high school senior who has enrolled in a college or trade school

A current college or trade school student who is returning to college or a trade school in the fall of 2018 as a full-time student

A recent 2017 – 2018 college graduate

You must provide verification of your student status by submitting your college transcript (an unofficial one is acceptable) or letter of acceptance to a college or trade school with your online application. Talent Development Internship (S18-045)

Provide support in designing training materials and collateral to support PGE’s new training programs. Create and work with metrics dashboard in support of PGE’s metrics strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build innovative power point decks

  • Use Survey Monkey to create customized surveys for TD interventions, collects survey data, evaluation data and develops summaries and reports to assess benefits of the TD program/intervention.

  • Create the format for, edits, or finalizes documents, correspondence, training materials using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

  • Provide a variety of other clerical and administrative functions ordering and distributing office supplies, typing up meeting/retreat notes, processing printing orders, stocking copiers and printers, maintaining files, and various other projects as needed or assigned.

  • Research and report on emerging trends in talent development in the utility industry and beyond

Qualifications include:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills,

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Access. Experience with SharePoint, PeopleSoft tools or other learning management systems a plus.

  • Affinity for analytical work, comfort with intermediate to advanced statistics and assessment/interpretation of unstructured data

  • Comfort with presenting data and working on data dashboards

  • Passion for making a positive change to the organization

  • Valid Driver’s license with evidence of safe driving habits
