About the Job:

Define and architect new products based on customer requirements and market opportunities. Write and maintain specifications, simulate, test, and field support new battery management ICs. Maintain tier one customer and field personnel relationships for strategic marketing and design-in support.

These products include battery fuel gauges that model the electrochemical reaction in rechargeable battery cells. The initial assignment will be in support of single cell battery gauge products in portable applications.

Basic Qualifications:

1) B.S in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

2) Board-level schematic development experience

3) Strong engineering fundamentals,

4) Ability to communicate and present to internal and external customers,

5) Ability to work in, and provide leadership for a small development group,

6) Lab bench / practical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

1) In-depth knowledge of board-level analog design, micro-controller/microprocessor applications, and firmware.

2) Self-directed and motivated

3) Ability to manage multiple projects

4) Must work well in a development team, as well as with internal and external customers.

5) Strong written and verbal communication skills including customer datasheets and Power-point presentations
