Role:

Provide full life cycle development with RPG/SYNON programming on an AS/400 platform from requirements through programming, testing and implementation.

Requirements:

• Detail-oriented and highly experienced in AS400 and mainframe environments.
• Extensive experience in AS/400 programming.
• In depth knowledge of SYNON/COOL2E software packages as well as RPG/3, CL, MS Office/Word/Excel.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills. Focused contributor with strong business acumen and drive for results.
• Effective interpersonal, team building, and communication skills.
• Experience with RXClaims a PLUS!

Responsibilities:

• Utilize IBM AS400, Synon/2e, RPG/3, SQL server, Agile, Waterfall to develop software applications using full software Development life cycle (SDLC)
• Coding, testing and implementation
• Conduct Build Verifications utilizing UAT and QA Certifications
• Plan and Co-ordinate Software System Releases
• Provide information technology analysis, recommendations, and consultations
• Review and validate functionality documentation
• Design and develop test plans, test scripts, test estimation, test case review, and documentation
• Perform software system testing, integration testing, functional testing and regression testing.
