Supply Chain Systems Analyst

Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for an Supply Chain Systems Analyst in the Cooling & Heating Division.

Position Summary :

This position is responsible doing business + data analysis, focus on aligning the Planning and OM team around the scope of a solution, and gathering detailed requirements to implement using multiple IT tools.

Responsibilities:

Business Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders in Supply Chain organization.
  • Facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders.
  • Identifying the current- and future-state business processes.
  • Helping the business stakeholders envision the future process and how their work will need to change to support it.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed technical & functional specifications (flowcharts, process maps, etc.)
  • Facilitating design sessions with the team to define the solution.
  • Deliver elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, and other detailed deliverables.
  • Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.
  • Perform data quality assurance
  • Define reporting and alerting requirements

Process Improvement and Soft Skills:

  • Own and develop relationship with peers, working with them to optimize and enhance system integration.
  • Communicate key insights and findings to team.
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve current processes and systems, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.
  • Delegate projects and routine problems, leads guides and directs the Order Management team.

Experience/Education:

  • Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
  • A BS degree in IT / Computer Science /Supply Chain
  • 5-7 years of proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing, software implementation is preferred.
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Solid experience in SQL and in writing SQL queries
  • Good knowledge in generating process documentation and detailed project plans
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
