ME HVAC, LLC has an excellent opportunity for a Logistics Analyst in the Cooling & Heating Division.

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for providing input into designing and analyzing domestic and international logistics networks. The engineer will utilize technical abilities to convert complex, analytical tasks into easily understood, data-driven stories. The position will also be a key resource for creating and maintaining various logistics metrics, scorecards, and continuous improvement processes.

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

Business Responsibilities:

  • Create/execute new and existing tasks and analytical functions for team and outside organizations

  • Utilize outputs from SAP and databases to create reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc requests

  • Present findings in easily understood ways and integrating findings into the overall supply chain strategy

  • Identifying the current-and future business needs to support the company’s growth plan

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Utilize MS Excel/Access in order to perform analytical functions and create detailed and/or high level presentation outputs

  • Become proficient in SAP order management, inventory, and reporting modules

  • Create models of current and future logistics processes in order to visualize areas of opportunity

  • Create and standardize documentation around current and future supply chain processes

  • Become familiar with internally-developed ‘Planning Assistant’ Access database tool

Process Improvement and Soft Skills:

  • Willingness to learn and improve upon new skills and processes while performing job duties

  • Own and develop relationship with internal and external groups in order to obtain necessary data and business information

  • Facilitating and presenting requirements amongst multiple stakeholders

  • Contributing to design sessions to improve processes or create new ones

  • Communicate key insights and findings to team and various organizations

  • Ensures the quality of work output by displaying a keen attention to detail

Experience/Education:

  • BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related quantitative field

  • 0 – 3 years of experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); VBA is a plus

  • Ability to learn and master supply chain components in SAP

  • Become efficient in utilizing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and visualizations

  • Ability to generate process documentation and detailed project plans

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing
