Primary Capital LLC (PC) is a full service investment banking firm registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and a member of both the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). PC provides a broad range of banking and advisory services with a focus on the needs of small to midsized public companies, late stage private companies, and real estate developers.

Job Description

The summer intern will play an integral role in the deal execution process. He/she will work closely with analysts and senior bankers. He/she will provide support for Chinese investor research, initiating marketing activities on social media platforms, drafting and translating marketing materials including articles, PPT and teaser, etc.

• Paid internship
• 3- to 5-month internship program with potential extension
• Start from early May,
• Weekly work hour: approximately 30 hours

Responsibilities

• Perform research on Chinese outbound investments and relevant policy
• Work with teammates on document (article, PPT, teaser, etc.) translation
• Prepare marketing materials based on a deep understanding of company’s goal and investor’s needs
• Collaborate on developing marketing strategies regarding diverse transactions of the company
• Develop company’s social media platforms

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate student majoring in investor relations, marketing, finance or the other business-related subjects
• Must be familiar with marketing company/product using Chinese social media platforms
• Previous experience in financial institutions (preferred but not required)
• Basic knowledge of finance, securities, and financial markets
• Must have the ability to write and draft thoughtful strategic thinking in memoranda and presentations in both English and Mandarin
• Strong research skills
• Good communications skills and ability to present thoughts and analysis professionally using Excel and PowerPoint
• Exceptional attention to detail, confident and self-motivated
• Bilingual in Mandarin required, effective written and oral communication skills
• Experience with working with Chinese investors and institutions
