Entry Level Trader

A growing hedge fund located in New York City is actively seeking an experienced and diligent applicant for a promising opportunity on their staff as a new trader / trading assistant. In this role, the new trader will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of funds and portfolio managers intraday and end-of-day profit and loss for various products, as well as providing idea generation ( if you have an existing strategy that generates alpha, please note that in your application ).

The Entry Level Trader will:

• Play a critical role in supporting portfolio managers and execution traders

• Interact with the front office and internal support departments

• Collaborate with software developers and fund administrators

• Perform other tasks as necessary

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics/STEM (preferred. light/heavy quants really preferred.)

• Ability to multitask

• Excellent communication skills

• Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
