Structural Engineer

CTA, Inc. is a 400+ member – 17 office multi-discipline A&E firm. CTA works within 6 Vertical Markets: Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Retail, Government, and Living. The Structural department works closely with in-house Architects and Architects throughout all of the company’s locations, which adds to the assortment and diversity of project types, design styles and local idiosyncrasies.

Light travel maybe required, but, most inter-office project teams work through WebEx, the Cloud, and Buzzsaw. Projects can range in size from small structural additions to the large scale multi-story mixed use towers. Candidates must have knowledge of new & remodel commercial construction, building codes, design manuals and construction practices and will require formal organization, presentation and budgetary management skills.

CTA believes in the integrated design paradigm: Architects and Engineers work hand in hand to develop holistic design solutions.

CTA in Kalispell is looking to fill one structural engineering position.

A range of experience from 4 to 10 years in structural building design.

Good communication skills – ability to work closely with Architects and relate to their needs.

A fairly balanced experience level to include Wood, Masonry, Steel and Concrete applications.

Risa 3D, Ramsteel, Enercalc, Revit experience
