Store Manager

Currently evaluating candidates for a venture located within 20 minutes of downtown Charleston.

We are in need of an experienced manager to place in a convenience store our company is purchasing. Candidate must be familiar with inventory management and ordering, employee management (including appraisals, hiring and firing) and cash management. Store is located in a rural environment and has a small staff that will stay in place after closing. Owner is local to area but has other ventures that are main priority. We need someone who is dependable, honest, hard working and will help grow the business allowing future investment in the area. Company is young but stable and very experienced ownership. Successful candidate will be capable of being promoted to an area management role within 1-2 years and will operate the store with little owner support.

Must have strong analytical, administrative and customer service skill sets.
