Job Summary

STEPS is currently seeking Medical Office Assistants to help with Rooming patients, assisting physicians with injections, returning phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, ordering supplies and re-stocking, assisting in procedures, prior approvals for ancillary services, calling in prescriptions, getting pre-certifications on procedures or medications.

STEPS Temporary Employment is a service of UK Human Resources that meets the University’s need for temporary employees in departments of UK Healthcare and UK Campus. We staff a variety of jobs including administrative, technical, service, maintenance, skilled trades, laboratory, and office/clerical. Temporary assignments can vary in length for one day to six months, and occasionally up to a year or more. Our temporary positions offer great opportunities for those seeking flexible and fulfilling work experience. For those ultimately seeking regular full-time opportunities, temporary employment also offers an opportunity to network and to gain relevant university experience.
