DESCRIPTION

Summary:
Responsible for the overall presentation, cleanliness and functionality of the stage and equipment, as well as oversee talent and entertainment elements.

DUTIES

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures that all equipment is properly set up, shut down and stored

Oversees talent and entertainment elements during programmed and special events

Supervises entertainers to ensure compliance with the Entertainment rules and guidelines

Serves as on-site operator of theatrical elements, including lighting and sound

Ensures that backstage area is properly set-up for the entertainers with water, towels, promotional t-shirts/giveaways, etc

Oversees cleanliness and safety of staging, dressing room, office and other areas touched by the Entertainment team and talent

Coordinates stage change requirements provided by Entertainment Manager

Implements monthly stage clean-ups for the department

Executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and ensuring their satisfaction before and during their program /event.

Works with Human Resources, Engineering and Risk Management to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and/or requirements.

Gains understanding of the hotels primary target customer and service expectations, serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns to offer better business solutions both prior to, and during the program/event.

Supports the operational aspects of the business booked.

Maintains and ensures compliance of all policies and procedure.

Other Functions:

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma and 3 years of related experience

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Ability to verbally communicate with others in order to take direction and execute tasks as directed

Strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong organizational and time management skills required

Working Conditions:
Work is not performed in an office environment and requires evening, weekend and holiday hours. Extended periods of walking and standing are required.
