Responsibilities

Review and analyze corporate entities and record related accounting entries in General Ledger
Prepare monthly financial statements for corporate entities.
Maintain records for companies during start-up phase, and hand-off to venue controller at start of operation.
Maintain detailed reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations, and research discrepancies
Follow and help maintain company’s accounting policies
Assist in Financial Audit & Sarbanes-Oxley requests.
Ad hoc reporting and other duties as reasonably assigned.

Qualifications

Skills and Knowledge
Accounting & financial knowledge
Basic analytical skills in dealing with financial and numeric data
Excellent computer skills, especially Excel
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work with different types of people and different management styles
Excellent organizational skills, sense of urgency & proven follow-through


Other Qualifications
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of general accounting experience
Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance (SOX) helpful
Compeat software experience helpful

Education

Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
