Sr. Web Developer

We recommend and provide custom branded merchandise and apparel to businesses and organizations of all sizes through three divisions, ePromos.com, and Motivators.com: our online players, and ePromos Brand Solutions: our marketing agency.

ePromos is looking for a Senior Web Developer to add to our technology team. This position will help set standards for our development that will strengthen our team and systems, while working on tickets and handling releases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and create new features for the company website
• Maintain in-house websites and add new features to assist our staff
• Assist in ticket grooming and prioritization
• Create time estimates for projects assigned to you
• Work with Manager, QA, or BA to track down issues and correct
• Complete Code Reviews when new code checked in
• Lead code releases when scheduled
• Help set and maintain standards for the development team

Skills Required:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact and communicate professionally with all levels of staff and management
• Understanding of eCommerce and its principals

Education and Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science (or similar field)
• 5+ years web development experience
• Strong understanding of JAVA/ JSP
• Experience with SQL, MySQL, and MSSQL preferred
• Experience with PHP preferred
• Experience with implementing Unit Tests
• Experience with Apache and Tomcat
• Experience with Centos Linux Distribution
