Sr. Project Coordinator

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Sr. Project Coordinator to support construction management and engineering projects for our Phoenix Office. Our ideal candidate will proactively partner with our Project Managers and Construction Managers and Engineers in the Phoenix Office in setting up managing our projects from cradle to grave. This position will be in the downtown Phoenix Office.

Job Expectations:

  • Support Project Managers and Construction Managers in collection/distribution of data, communications, and coordination of team deliverables.
  • Follow established document control procedures and ensure document control activities such as document management, version control and distribution management are executed in a timely fashion and in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Engage Project level Team Members to ensure that tasks are executed effectively and deadlines are met.
  • Help develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management and/or clients informed of contract progress.
  • Assist Risk Register Owners with coordination, tracking and reporting of Risk Management efforts for various projects.
  • Assist with coordination, tracking and reporting of regulatory management functions for various projects.
  • Coordinate compilation and perform formatting of Contract Documents
  • Assist with the development and management of construction administration support activities including construction procurement activities, change management, submittal and RFI reviews and tracking.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar work experiences.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a professional office setting required; experience in project management/coordination in the A&E and construction industry preferred.
  • Candidate should be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Power Point, MS Project, and Access skills are a plus.
  • Candidate should be able to anticipate project needs and can identify and complete work assignments independently.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
  • Successful candidate will be proactive and self-motivated.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments is required.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment required.
  • Ability to work under multiple deadline pressures required.
  • Candidate should be willing to work occasional over-time.
