Sr. .NET Developer

AIM Consulting is looking for a Senior .NET developer with a strong background in consulting and an entrepreneurial spirit to effectively support our customer. You should have experience with a variety of architectures, patterns, and methodologies, knowledgeable about service-oriented architectures, emerging platforms/tools, and enterprise integration. You should be passionate about developing quality, technically excellent software and excited about being a part of a team and mentoring others through all phases of the SDLC from conception to delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be self-motivated, responsible and focused on technical excellence
• Must demonstrate a bias for learning and mentoring others
• 6+ years of enterprise .NET development experience
• Strong practical experience building web applications and web services using ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI and WCF
• Strong practical experience with both RESTful and SOAP API design and development
• Practical experience with relational databases and ORMs
• Practical experience with Agile/XP development practices including Pair programming, test-driven development (TDD) and refactoring
• Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns and code smells
• Strong understanding of distributed system architectures and application architectures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Angular 1.2 and above and modern JavaScript tools (NPM, WebPack, Gulp, Bower, etc.)
• Experience building and deploying web applications to Azure
• Experience with HTML5, Bootstrap.js, and CSS
• Proven experience leading software development teams and mentoring other developers
• Practical experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools and branching and deployment strategies
• Azure experience
• Proven track record for assisting or leading medium to large projects.
