The Sr .Net Developer will be a key member of the tech team responsible for evolving the ecommerce platform that powers the LuckyVitamin desktop, tablet, mobile web and mobile app experience. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned developer with ecommerce experience and a passion for creating outstanding customer experiences in a collaborative working environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Required Skills:

• Solid hands on experience in developing web applications using C#, ASP.NET , HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, XML/XSLT, MVC.
• Strong Software Design and Debugging Skills (OOP / OOD).
• Great knowledge of relational databases design and development. Working experience with MS SQL Server 2008/2012.
• Experience in mobile and responsive design and development experience, including expertise with HTML and CSS frameworks.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices in development and deployment.
• Experience in Web services – RESTful, WCF, SOAP .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivation to get things done and deliver on commitments.
• Experience with IIS configuration and management of hosting applications.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills. Provide accurate coding timelines and estimates. Communicating impediments as they arise.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to write clear technical documentation, requirements, etc.

Desired skills/experience:

• Previous experience in eCommerce industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or other ERP systems.
• Understand Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and tools.
• Shell scripting or other scripting experience.
