Sr. Java Developer

Our Seattle office is seeking a Sr. Java Developer. You should have experience with a variety of architectures, patterns, and methodologies focused on service oriented architectures, emerging platforms/tools, and enterprise integration. You should be passionate about development, prototyping and staying current on emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

Develop high performance, scalable applications

Analyze pre-existing applications

Help define development standards and guidelines

Analyze existing infrastructure

Participate in code reviews

Troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis

Mentor other team members

Self-motivated, proactive, curious, responsible and flexible

Required:

6+ years of enterprise software development experience

Strong experience building Enterprise Java web applications

Strong experience creating and consuming RESTful Web Services

Strong experience optimizing web applications (CDN, code compression, etc.)

Strong experience with relational databases

Strong experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven, Gradle, etc.)

Experience with software design and architecture (design patterns, diagrams, etc.)

Desired:

Experience with containerization (Docker, Vagrant, etc.)

Experience with HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Experience with non-relational databases (MongoDB, CouchDB, etc.)

Experience with test automation (unit, functional, integration)

Experience with modern client frameworks (AngularJS, Backbone.js, etc.)
