Sr GL Accountant

Senior General Ledger Accountant responsible for reconciling and maintaining key accounts, analyzing financial information and working with various teams across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reconciling accounts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Create and upload journal entries
• Support account analysis and completion of flux reports
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support account reconciliations
• Responsible for assigned intercompany account reconciliations and intercompany invoicing
• Responsible for Fixed Assets and accounts reconciliation
• Ensure processes and related controls are followed
• Support SOX compliance efforts

Education and experience

• Accounting degree from an accredited College or University
• 7 years relevant industry experience
• Experience working in a global accounting environment
• Oracle accounting software experience a must
• Ability to work independently, effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, and to work with functional groups outside of finance
• Experience with the above in a high tech and/or enterprise software or hardware company
• Proven ability to work in a fast- paced environment
