West Efx Inc. is hiring for a Special Effects Technician position for National Guard Training Support at Fort Drum May 30th through June 22nd, 2018.

As a Special Effects Technician, you will help support training scenarios using special effects devices (similar to ones used on a film set).

If you qualify for this exciting opportunity, you will be paid for two training and evaluation days. Upon satisfactorily completing the training evaluation, requirements include you to be to be on call for the remainder of the work period. Hours may fluctuate based on training support requirements.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen
• Valid Driver’s License
• 21 and over
• High School Diploma minimum
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Sober and professional appearance on the job
• Mechanical/Technical Aptitude a plus

Pay Rates:
$17.75 per hour (included $4.41 in H&W). Overtime potential.
