Solutions Developer Intern

The Developer intern will work with the current development staff on internal developer tooling, open source tooling, and the main projects the developer staff is working on.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work in a team environment to enhance developer tooling using
• Ansible
• Custom elixir projects
• Other tools
• Research, scope, and develop internship-length project
• Learn and use the tools and techniques that are currently used by technology team.
• Technologies include: Elixir/Phoenix, Elm, Python
• Tools include: EventStore, ElasticSearch, Postgres, Github, Slack
• Techniques include: MVPs, Experiment Design, Pair Programming, Retros, Code Reviews
• Work in a collaborative environment with other develops on the core system

Requirements:

• Computer Science major or comparable studies.
• Some technical knowledge in application development tools, techniques, best practices and methodologies.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Troubleshooting/support skills.
