Software Engineer (Backend)

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our growing team across the United States who is passionate about solving problems for people, and wants to play a critical role on a team building a global experience that almost everyone on the planet can use almost every day.

Our team is a mix of data, development and design, and we’re tackling hard problems across fields. We optimize for practicality, pragmatism, and niceness.

You are smart, curious, empathetic, open-minded, and driven. You have engineering breadth and depth, and experience working on cross-functional, collaborative teams. If you love to build beautiful, intuitive, and performant mobile experiences get in touch!

About You

• 3-5+ years of engineering experience
• Working knowledge of and experience with Node, Javascript, Postgres, and AWS
• 3+ years of experience developing client-server applications with RESTful APIs
• Experience with and interest in GIS are a plus
• Passion for solving complex challenges
