SO WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for a self-starting full stack software engineer to join our software development team. We offer an innovative, fast-paced Agile development culture that encourages you to work and play hard. Our software platform is hosted using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and includes HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Python, Perl, Node.js, React/Redux, Backbone.js, Bootstrap, NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB), and Linux.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

• Work closely with product managers and developers to iterate on requirements and develop elegant solutions and delightful user experiences
• Use modern web frameworks for rapid development and testing of high performance software
• Improve the efficiency and quality of our development process
• Conduct and assist in design and code reviews, unit and integration testing

WHAT KINDS OF EXPERIENCE SHOULD YOU HAVE?

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 5 or more years developing commercial SaaS web applications in an AWS cloud environment
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript technologies
• Extensive development with your favorite object oriented web programming language such as Python, Node.js, Perl, Ruby and associated web frameworks
• Data management with NoSQL data stores such as MongoDB or DynamoDB
• Software unit testing experience with TDD and/or BDD methods
• Have used software development tools such as Git, GitHub, JIRA, Vagrant
• Desire to work in a collaborative Agile team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
