Total Expert is looking for a Software Engineer to expand our growing Software Engineering organization. Total Expert is a SaaS technology start-up located in Eden Prairie, MN focused on providing the very first fully integrated enterprise grade Marketing Operating System for the real estate and financial services industries. Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our growing Engineering Team! In this position you’ll work directly with a large team of Software, QA, Data, and DevOps team members to expand and support the Total Expert platform and integrations. We’re looking for someone who excels at web development, data and databases, and is passionate about using cutting edge SaaS web-based technologies.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, develop, and test new features and capabilities using the very latest developer tooling.
• Participate in problem analysis with other team members and business users, Product Team members, and other Engineering groups for our software integrations with customers.
• Participate in Agile Scrum projects, communicate status and obstacles to the delivery team.
• Provide maintenance break/fix support for assigned areas of the platform, and triage support issues to other areas of the Engineering Team.
• Participate in code reviews and design collaboration sessions with other team members.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience within a team-based environment
• Experience building responsive web applications
• Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, and AJAX
• SQL expertise (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
• Team based development experience using Agile Scrum
• Experience using version control system (GitHub, TFS, …), understanding of branching and merging

Education Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
