Software Developer, Junior

Key Role:

Conduct systems analysis and programming activities for the development, maintenance, and installation of computer programs into client or commercial application systems. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments on a limited basis. Perform closely managed work involving limited problem solving while following standardized practices and procedures. Interface with the supervisor or manager and other professionals in the work group.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience with software development or information technology in a professional work environment

• Experience with C++, Java, or Python programming in an academic or professional work environment

• Ability to obtain a security clearance required
• AS degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with using one or more common build tools, including Ant, Maven, and Gradle and one integrated development environment (IDE), including NetBeans, Eclipse, or IntelliJ IDEA

• Experience with hardware and software evaluation
• Experience with the Linux or BSD operating system
• Experience with reverse engineering and IDAPro
• Experience with steganography or steganalysis
• Experience with cryptography or cryptanalysis
• Experience with the C programming language
• Experience with forensics

• Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
