Software Developer/Java

• Design , develop , configure and deploy Java/JEE web applications ( on premises and in Cloud)
• Gather requirements to develop Application pages using JSP, HTML, CSS, JQuery, AJAX and JavaScript.
• Develop java user interface screens using HTML, DHTML and JSP.
• Migrate legacy multi-threading to Java 7 /8 solution at the application level.
• By using structs framework Design, Develop, Test and Deploy and build Web applications
• Document technical or system design based on requirements or objectives.
• Create and perform unit tests, as well as resolving and retesting any defects identified.
• Partner with other IT teams during integration activities to facilitate successful implementations
• Work very closely with architecture groups and participate in solutioning.
• Ensure unit testing is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.
• Participate in software engineering phases including requirements analysis, architecture & application design.
• Design requirements and documents that are consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable.
• Analyzes the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users
• Leading a medium-sized applications development team to Demonstrated ability to lead and direct the work of others and manage multiple assignments with excellent judgment to plan and accomplish goals of the client.
• Triage production support issues post-deployment and drive solutions as required.
• Build reusable components, frameworks and libraries which can be leveraged across department.
