Software Developer Intern – AWS BigMac

  • Programming experience with programming language such as Java, C# or C++.
  • Enrolled in B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (graduation date on or after August 2021) with focused study in two of the following areas:
  • Data structures
  • algorithm design
  • complexity analysis

If the answer is yes, the HyperPlane team wants to talk with you. HyperPlane is an AWS core service that offers customers incredibly scalable and robust load balancing technology. We support a number of internal service as well as customer facing products, such as NAT Gateway, Network Load Balancer, Private Link, and many others.

    We are growing fast, and are looking for Java programmers who can deliver high quality code, to keep up with the increase in usage of our service. This requires a passion for building ultra-large distributed systems, and the tools necessary to maintain and monitor them. This is a unique opportunity to join us in building the platform which is the basis for many new EC2 VPC features in the years to come.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Innovating and delivering creative SW Designs to develop new services, solve operational problems, drive improvements in developer velocity, or positively impact operational safety
  • Writing requirements capturing documents, design documents, integration test plans, and deployment plans
  • Communicating status and progress of deliverables, to meet schedules
  • Sharing learnings and innovations with your team and stakeholders

  • Experience building RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with AWS EC2 network stack and products such as NAT Gateway or Load Balancers.
