We are located in Canby OR, just 21 miles south of Portland, 33 miles SE of Hillsboro, 8 miles east of Wilsonville and 30 miles north of Salem. Commuting to Canby is a breeze of backroads or freeway travel out of the city core.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, debug, maintain, and document software components Adhere to coding standards for software development set forth by the organization Maintain and enhance existing software components and systems Lead/mentor developers and share knowledge through knowledge-sharing presentations Actively participate in a small, experienced, development team using agile development practices: Daily Scrum meetings, planning meetings, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
C# / .NET4.x / MVC Database / SQL Visual C++ and MFC experience a plus Experience with Web Development and Web Services Additional technologies desired: WPF, CSS, JavaScript Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of software development practice Demonstrable programming ability Strong problem solving skills Ability to work independently but contribute and work within the Development Team environment

Educational Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience A High School Diploma or equivalent is required 5 + years of software development experience Insurance Industry Experience is a plus
