Software Developer, Back-End

Riskonnect, Inc. is seeking a candidate for the position of Software Developer at our Kennesaw, GA office. The successful candidate must be a self-motivated individual with a degree in Computer Science or related field. Must understand the software development lifecycle, object-oriented programming, and be able to work in teams or individually in a fast-paced environment. Candidate will participate in the creation of new products, enhancements to existing products, and customizations for clients. Experience in Web development with Javascript and Agile development processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cloud-based software development with the Force.com platform and Javascript
• Design and implement backend processes using remote actions and/or REST
• Participate in code reviews and analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• Development experience in an object-oriented language (e.g. Java, C#) and proven experience with design patterns and best practices
• Experience with relational databases (SQL and Database Triggers), web services (REST/SOAP), and concurrency considerations
• Demonstrated experience with Force.com development and cloud computing, including Apex Triggers, Visualforce, Javascript Remoting, and Futures/Batches/Queuables is a major plus
• Experience with developing Javascript applications in an MVVM or related architecture is a plus
• Experience in Web development using HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript is a plus
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) development processes preferred
• Experience with JIRA a plus
• Experience with the GIT architecture, Bitbucket Server experience a plus
• Demonstrated experience in understanding and daily-use of software design patterns
• 2+ years of software development experience preferred
