Software Developer

Essential Function: The incumbent plays a key role in the design, installation, testing and maintenance of Trident Automation’s proprietary software products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SQL scripting for data manipulation and analysis
• Ability to implement and maintain developed web solutions using C#, .NET and SOA
• Manage and configure client product solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and IIS environments.
• Diagnose/repair software problems or bugs, assist customers with technical problems, and help resolve those problems by directly working with clients to meet their business needs
• Provide business users the data required for metrics and analysis.
• Create reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting services
• Communicate in writing and speech, complex technical issues effectively to customers
• Potential travel to client sites at 25%.
• Adhere to high quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
• Provide superior customer support to business users at all times.

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science required. Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Able to use one or more developmental language such as C# or Java and a core understanding of database interactions using SQL and LINQ. Must be a United States citizen or legally able to work in the US without sponsorship.

• Experience with analyzing and writing SQL.
• Experience with C# programming language and web/mobile application development to be deployed in IIS.
• Have experience with object-oriented programming and a good understanding of XML.

• Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
• Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.
