We are currently in search of a Software Developer to join our Information Technology team! The Software Developer is responsible for software development, supporting existing applications, implementation of new application solutions, and providing end-user support as required. As a Software Developer, this position will work with other developers and collaborate on the development and implementation of solutions with the network, database, and project teams. The Software Developer will report directly to the Head of Applications and Web Technologies.

Job Requirements:
Education

Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field preferred

Experience

3+ years of professional development experience required

Experience with Web service technologies including SOAP, XML, JAX-WS required

Experience with one or more of the following required: C#, .Net, ASP.NET, MVC, PHP, HTML 5, JavaScript, T-SQL and SQL

Server technology experience in one or more of the following required: NGINX, Apache, Tomcat, or IIS. (Microsoft development tools primarily preferred)

Experience with software repository projects and management of code base, using GitHub and/or Visual Studio Team Services.

Licenses and Certifications

MCPD or MCSD certification preferred

Essential Job Functions

Software design, development, enhancement, debugging, and implementation and troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.

Produce detailed applications based upon specifications and follows the organizations development standards and methodologies related to SDLC processes.

Research, test, build and coordinate/assist in the installation of new application solutions.

Address issues of systems integration, compatibility, performance, and platform standards.

Consult with project teams where needed regarding application design requirements.

Assist in the evaluation of application solutions and documenting technical requirements.

Collaborate with other developers on best practice, work review, development standards, and code reviews.

Participate in the development of training manuals or procedures for end-users.

Travel: The travel requirements for this position are estimated to be >5% of the work time. Travel will include Domestic and International travel. Driver’s license and passport required.
