Software Application Engineer

This position will work with a close-knit team of developers that are focused on delivering next generation data solutions for real estate websites nationwide. All of our Developers start out by working on data, handling more than 550 robust real estate data sets nationwide, and while those duties remain shared, the sky is the limit in terms of professional development and where you want to build your expertise.

Main Objectives:

• Multi-platform / Multi-technology web and API development.
• Modern web app design methods.
• JavaScript development (mobile libraries, lightweight AJAX, custom library development)

Ideal Candidate:

• Able to work independently, taking initiative and ownership of various projects.
• Proficient with PHP, MySQL, HTML, XML, AJAX & JavaScript.
• Able to demonstrate the ability to hand code HTML without the use of a WYSIWYG.
• Someone who enjoys programming for the fun of it and takes pride in their work.

Requirements:

• Bachelors of Science in CS, CIS, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years SAAS or PAAS development experience.
• A commanding knowledge of CSS for standard and mobile browsers.
• General familiarity with Scrum development processes.
