SOFTWARE ANALYST

We are seeking an experienced Software Analyst to join our team. There is flexibility for this role to be located at any of the included locations in this advertisement. Potential locations for this role can be in Washington, Nevada, Ohio, Arizona, Mississippi, and Minnesota.

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Software Analyst assists in maintaining and supporting the Sage X3 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program and other ancillary applications tied to the ERP System.

Essential Duties:
  • Train, troubleshoot and provide user support for the users of the X3 System, EDI System and other systems as assigned.
  • Add/Delete/Modify user rights within the X3 System.
  • Create and maintain documentation of X3 System related processes including interconnectivity to ancillary applications.
  • Identify root cause and resolution for data integrity issues.
  • Perform maintenance of the X3 System, including maintenance of screens, tables, parameters, etc.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of X3 System Patch sets and other changes in the X3 System that may affect the users.
  • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex ERP issues for a variety of end users; recommend and implement corrective solutions when applicable.
  • Work with the system users to assess and implement needs or changes within the X3 System.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions on X3 capabilities
  • Assist with the Electronic Data Interface (EDI) day-to-day usage and new customer setups.
  • Aid in development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, maintain current knowledge of plan executable, and respond to crises in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Develop reports, queries and dashboards within the X3 System to address user needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) with an emphasis on Computer Information or Business Systems, from a four year accredited college or university, and 2-4 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification in Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems required, experience with X3 preferred.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Must be familiar with wireless networks and devices including handheld devices.
  • Some knowledge of EDI systems and integration.
  • Must be familiar with SQL query and interoperability of the MS Office suite with SQL.
  • Possess working knowledge of Crystal Reports.
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities. Detail oriented and organized.
  • Proven problem solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated learner. Ability to quickly become an expert.
  • Aptitude for technology.
  • Possess solid logic, writing and language skills.
