Social Media Marketing Associate

JOB MISSION:
As a member of the Global Digital Marketing Team, you will play a vital role in shaping and leading New Balance and Warrior Lacrosse’s digital footprint by driving choreographed and strategic work across all Social and Digital channels.

Responsibilities

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Create and execute successful & coordinated organic stories across social platforms (FB, IG, TWT, Snapchat, YouTube), incorporating athlete UGC & brand storytelling.

Strategize and develop daily content for use across all global social channels as well as for NewBalance.com/Warrior.com (features, interviews with athletes and designers, product stories), then craft and manage the distribution of that content across New Balance’ social media platforms for maximum reach and impact.

Partner with Consumer Groups to align with the storytelling initiatives, athletes and products, while also working to uncover the most compelling stories for our consumers worldwide.

Work with analytics team to track and report all campaigns, putting together recommendations for future plans based on insights.

Co-own and manage day-to-day relationship with counterparts within our key social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and Pinterest), our key vendors and content creators, while also pushing to uncover new talent and new opportunities and platforms for digital innovation and content distribution

Oversee Brand platform design, e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile picture, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog.

Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

Help deploy our global social media plan that fuels our sales strategies through increased brand sentiment, followers across platforms, and retail visits (both e-commerce and retail locations). Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

3+ years of deep social media experience, across platforms and channels, including an understanding of social media KPIs and best in class execution

Deep knowledge of the lacrosse industry and culture

Understanding of NB/Warrior product, organization, and marketing plan details

Strong organizational ability to create order and structure around multiple parallel initiatives

Mature personality who can be the “voice” of the brand on social media

This position requires trust and empowerment to make solid decisions on the spot in order to drive and protect brand integrity, as well as strong organizational capabilities on the reporting side.
