SharePoint Developer (no third party candidates)

This position is for a SharePoint Developer to perform SharePoint application development servicing the needs of the United States Attorney’s Office located in Columbia South Carolina. The successful candidate will initially have primary responsibility to work on the existing SharePoint 2013 Farm, the development of workflows and integration as needed, and the deployment of SharePoint 2016.

Job Description

• SharePoint site modifications, configuration of out-of-box features, and creation of forms and approval workflows.

• Plan, design, implement, document, and maintain content management systems in coordination with government POCs.
• Administer, maintain and patch SharePoint farms.
• Contribute to the visual appeal of online offerings and communications.
• Assist with the operations and maintenance of customer websites, as needed.
• Support debugging of customer intranet applications as needed.
• Design, develop, and test SharePoint solutions.
• Design, develop, and test forms.
• Design, develop, and test custom lists.
• Design, develop, and test custom workflows utilizing SharePoint Designer.

REQUIREMENTS

The engineer must possess expert knowledge of SharePoint development. Experience with SharePoint Designer, Web Parts, and workflow creation. Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, administration and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services. Experience/knowledge with installation and configuration of Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2016. Experience using PowerShell to manage SharePoint sites and farm resources. Experience with Microsoft SQL 2014/2016, SQL Reporting Services, and Microsoft SQL configuration related to SharePoint 2013/2016. Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient.
