Senior Web Developer

Global corporation with main office located in Miami is seeking a Senior Web Developer to help develop and manage our company’s systems. The ideal candidate must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, and has at least 5-7 years of Web Development experience. Duties and Responsibilities:

• This is a highly technical position that involves designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining our programs and internal systems.
• Developers are involved with, and responsible for, all aspects of the application’s life cycle.
• Participates in the annual inventory of the company.
• Performs analysis and makes recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency.
• Designs data bases and data dictionary criteria.
• Performs a variety of complex programming tasks, such as designing, documenting, and coding program logic.
• Provides technical training, guidance, and resource support for end users and Departmental staff.
• In addition to all accountabilities of the Systems Analyst position, assumes greater leadership role, utilizing broader knowledge and high level technical skills.
• Assists in developing user documentation and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of application systems.
• Continues to develop professional skills in the information systems and health care fields through trade magazines, manuals, seminars, and courses. Assist sin training analyst staff.
• Provides application support and enhancements to existing applications. Defines system requirements, priorities, and viable alternatives. Coordinates the efforts of staff to locate, assess, install, test, and maintain computer software systems. Coordinates conversions and upgrades to vendor systems.
• Performs as a project lead and directs systems analysts. Provides leadership and coordination on projects assigned to systems analysts.

Knowledge/ Experience/ Skills :

• Bachelors in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with at indicated experience performing the functions of the job.
• Must have a strong understanding of object oriented principles and design.
• Excellent knowledge of Visual Basic, Crystal Reports.
• Must also have experience with scripting languages (PHP, ASP), web technologies (HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery). Solid understanding of AJAX.
• Must be proficient in database concepts, SQL and familiar with relational databases (DB2, SQL Server)
• Experience with third party API integration.
• Required experience with Magento Software.
• Desirable knowledge of Zend Framework.
• Desirable experience using PHP to create and consume web services (SOAP, XML)
• Desirable experience with Mobile Apps development.
• Desirable skills on Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Visio, Outlook
• Desirable knowledge of iSeries.
