Why Is This Role Critical?

This position will be responsible for designing and implementing information systems which will support the infrastructure of the organization.

What you will be accountable for….

This position will analyse system requirements and ensures that systems will offer security and will be effectively integrated into current systems as well as ensure all systems are working at optimal levels. This position works directly with senior management to identify and address technology gaps, strategic goals and business imperatives impacted by infrastructure technology.

What you will need to be successful……

7+ years of experience of Infrastructure Architecture or similar experience

Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)

Linux Administration (Redhat, CentOS)

Backup experience (Veeam etc.)

Disaster recovery and business continuity planning/testing.

Create technical documentation in Visio.

Ability to diagnose network related issues and resolve using any variety of monitoring tools (Solarwinds , Newrelic etc.).

Server Administration (Installing, Configuring, Updating etc.)

Network Administration (Installing, Configuring, Updating etc.)

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in an efficient and timely manner.

Create and provide innovative solutions to complex technical problems

Manage and maintain a web based queue of tickets assigned to address items based on priority/severity level.

EMC, Compellent, Pure or some type of SAN experience.

DHCP, Group Policy, DNS & Active Directory

Participate and follow implementation for IT projects such as upgrades, training and troubleshooting.

Participate in 24×7 On-Call rotation assignments

Perform other duties as assigned

Maintain and update documentation related to organization-wide IT activities and technology roadmaps

Identify, resolve and fix reported security vulnerabilities.

Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.

Ability to function independently, prioritize work, and meet time sensitive deadlines.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Well organized and detail oriented with strong self-management skills

Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing and prioritizing

Self-starter with exceptional problem solving abilities coupled with a get it done attitude

Display an interest in career development, continual education, and a desire to create and implement innovative solutions.

Exercise the highest ethical standards.

Successful completion of a criminal background check

The nice to haves……

Healthcare Experience Preferred

HL7 Administration (Mirth, Rhapsody etc.)

Microsoft, CompTIA, and/or ITIL certifications

VOIP Administration and call flow scripting experience. (Incontact, Interactive intelligence etc.)

Endpoint Security Antivirus and Encryption

SQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB experience a plus
